The Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) is not your typical sports organisation. We're a global start-up, co-owned by professional athletes themselves, on a mission to celebrate and elevate the sport of triathlon like never before. 

In just four years, we’ve disrupted the entire sport, launching the T100 Triathlon World Tour in 2024, bringing the world’s top-ranked athletes to iconic cities including Miami, Singapore, San Francisco, London, Ibiza, Las Vegas, and Dubai, where we crowned our first-ever World Champions. We’ve expanded beyond the Professional Tour to bring T100 mass participation races to people all over the world who can now experience the same incredible atmosphere, same iconic locations on the same stage as the pros. Job requirements

Role 

We’re looking for an accomplished Senior Editor to lead the creative and editorial craft of T100 storytelling across social, digital, broadcast, and live event content. Reporting into the Chief Content Officer you will own key projects end-to-end, set the standard for editorial excellence and ideation to deliver impactful work that grows the T100 brand globally. 

You’ll be equally comfortable cutting flagship broadcast films as you are shaping authentic, low-production social content that lands natively on each platform. This is both a craft and leadership role: hands-on with high level edits, but also setting editorial standards and pushing innovation across the team. 

This role is based at our London HQ. 

Key Responsibilities 

Project Leadership 

● Shape story arcs, emotional pacing, and editorial tone to elevate content beyond the brief. 

● Lead creative ideation and help to deliver the briefing and delivery of concepts. 

● Act as final QC on owned projects before delivery to partners. 

Technical & Workflow Excellence 

● Deliver cross-platform edits: long-form, short-form, broadcast, and social-native. 

● Research imagery, music, and stock to strengthen creative treatments. 

● Mix audio, apply colour correction, and create titles/motion graphics in After Effects when needed. 

● Establish and maintain best-in-class edit pipelines, naming conventions, and QC processes across the team. 

● Manage technical delivery for broadcast, branded content, and partner platforms. 

● Champion innovation: test and adopt new tools, plug-ins, and AI workflows to improve speed and creative output. 

Team Leadership & Collaboration 

● Mentor and develop junior/mid-weight editors through feedback, training, and career guidance. 

● Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, producers, designers, and social leads to align edits with wider creative strategy. 

● Translate stakeholder briefs into clear editorial visions, managing amends with confidence and efficiency. 

● Represent post-production in cross-department planning, advocating for realistic timelines and resources. 

● Work closely with post production to ensure quality, communication and delivery are paramount.

● Proactively propose and identify new content ideas, editorial treatments, and brand-defining creative concepts, shotlist and new approaches capture. 

● Elevate storytelling standards across the team by sharing techniques, references, and inspiration. 

● Contribute to culture: help build a collaborative, ambitious, and resilient team environment. 

● Drive post-production forward as a strategic function in the business, not just a service unit. 

Who We’re Looking For 

● 5+ years professional editing experience across broadcast, digital, and branded content. 

● Obsessed storyteller, content creator, ‘technique-improver’, energy bringer! 

● Strong grasp of what works across different channels: from polished broadcast packages to authentic, social-native content. 

● Ability to balance polish with simplicity - knowing when a raw, quick-turnaround edit is the right creative choice. 

● Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; strong knowledge of codecs, formats, and resolutions. 

● Skilled at audio mixing, colour correction, subtitling, and optimising content for multiple platforms. 

● Advanced storytelling craft: able to get under the skin of the sport and surface compelling narratives. 

● Strategic thinker with a long-term creative mindset, not just focused on the video at hand. 

● Excellent communicator: able to present, articulate, and reason clearly with stakeholders. 

● Highly organised with first-rate time management; thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment. 

● Passionate storyteller and media creator, ideally with experience in sport media. 

● Significant professional experience in a production company, broadcaster, publisher, or digital media environment - or just a black belt figure sh*t out editor that can hit any brief thrown at you 

● Self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently as well as within a team 

Core Deliverables You’ll Own 

● Lead edits on flagship T100 films: season trailers, broadcast features, and hero content. 

● Oversee editorial quality and consistency across the editing team. 

● Mentor mid-weight and junior editors, setting standards and providing regular feedback. 

● Develop and propose new content formats for T100 platforms (both broadcast and social-first). 

● Work with partners and broadcasters to deliver high-stakes content packages. 

● Drive workflow improvements (templates, automation, plug-ins, AI tools). 

● Shape the editorial vision of the T100 brand through craft and innovation.
